Priority Cabins For Elderly, Disabled and Children To Be Tested On North-East Line
By end 2020, a year-long trial of priority cabins meant for the elderly, wheelchair users and families with young children will be tested on the North-East Line (NEL).
This is part of measures to allow for a more inclusive transport system in Singapore. The two centre cabins of each of the 19km’s 43 trains will be allocated as priority cabins.

Catholic Church Will Resume Mass, But COVID-19 Measures Will be Implemented
The Catholic Church in Singapore will resume Mass starting next week after all churches have implemented necessary precautionary measures related to COVID-19.
Sunset and Sunday masses will continue again on 14 March and 15 March while weekday masses will resume on 16 March if they are able to abide by Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.

Ex-property Agent Fined $88,000 After He Illegally Offered Short Term Stays To Tourists On Airbnb
An ex-property agent has been slapped with a fine of $88,000 on Thursday after it illegally offered short-term stays to tourists through its online accommodation site Airbnb.
Joel Su Jiqing was a Propnex Realty Agent during that period. He is the fifth person to be convicted of the offence. However, he has been slapped with the highest fine thus far.

Majority Of Traffic Junctions Will Have Red-Amber-Green Arrows Instead Of Discretionary Right Turns By 2023
In order to raise the level of pedestrian safety, red-amber-green turning arrows will be installed at most traffic junctions over the course of the next three years.
These arrows which will let motorists turn only when there is a green arrow have been implemented at over 300 junctions. By 2023, it will be installed at 1,200 junctions.

Rise In Student Care Subsidy For Lower-Income Families
Student care subsidy under an assistance scheme will be increased for lower-income families starting 1 July this year, according to Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim on Thursday.
Families who qualify will have their student care fees subsidised by up to $60 each month under the Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) scheme.
