Morning Fire At Jurong East Coffee Shop; 3 Evacuated And 1 Brought To Hospital
A fire broke out at a Jurong East coffee shop on the morning of 5 October. Three men were evacuated while one was brought to Singapore General Hospital.
Black smoke could be seen coming out of the windows of a ground floor coffee shop. Firefighters could also be seen fighting the fire.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was notified regarding the fire which occurred at Block 346 Jurong East Street 31 at around 8.05.

2 Adults Allegedly Made Off With Girl’s By 2 Adults At Marina Square Kiztopia
A man took to Facebook to look for 2 adults that had made off with his daughter’s bag at Marina Square’s Kiztopia.
The bag contained the child’s concession pass, mobile phone and personal belongings. He also attached the security footage of the incident, which he got from the security personnel.
He is hoping to get his daughter’s bag back.

Drug Residue Found On Quail Eggs; Singapore Bans Imports From Malaysia Farm
Quail egg imports from a Malaysian farm, Telic Farm was halted after they were found to have drug residue. The drug residue was ‘nicarbazin’ a drug used as an oral contraceptive for birds.
The drug is also used to prevent parasitic diseases in poultry. Telic Farm previously imported 20% of Singapore’s quail egg supply.

Man Stole $52k From GF After Moving In With Her; Currently On Trial
The man allegedly moved in with his girlfriend to take care of her as she was suffering from severe eczema. Instead, he made off with $52,000 by stealing and using her ATM and credit cards.
The man’s named Marcus Kong Wei Keong now faces 32 counts of theft for stealing from his ex-girlfriend Ms Felicia Lee Yen Pheng.
He is representing himself in the trial.

Police Investigate Telegram Chat Group With Obscene Videos And Photos Of Girls
The police are investigating a Telegram chat group which allegedly has obscene videos and photos of Singaporean girls. This came after some of the victims made police reports.
Some of these photos are said to be upskirt photos. The name of the chat group is “SG Nasi Lemak,” and cannot be joined. While it was still running, there were a total of 44,000 members.
According to a Wanbao reader, the chat group had existed for more than a year.
