Second Flight To Bring Singaporeans Home From Wuhan On Sunday

A second flight will bring Singaporeans and their family members home from Wuhan, Hubei. It will arrive on our shores on Sunday morning.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), “Appropriate quarantine arrangements have been made for all of them.”

Last week, 92 Singaporeans were brought home from Wuhan last week. Out of them, four people have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Grab Momentarily Stops Grab Share Services Due To Wuhan Virus Outbreak

Ride-hailing operator Grab will suspend its Grabshare service in Singapore beginning Sunday 1am due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

A notice to app users stated, “Due to the latest developments, GrabShare services will be temporarily unavailable from Feb 9, 1am until further notice,” the company said in a statement on Saturday. “We appreciate your understanding while we work closely with the relevant authorities to monitor the situation.”

PM Lee Asks Singapore To ‘Take Courage” During ‘Stressful’ Wuhan Virus Outbreak

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong asked Singaporeans to “take courage” amidst ongoing coronavirus outbreak. He has also urged Singaporeans to “see through this stressful time together.”

According to him, the real test that this outbreak brings is to Singapore’s social cohesion and psychological resilience.

All 7 New Coronavirus Cases in Singapore Have Not Been To China Recently

A taxi driver and a private-hire car driver are among the seven new coronavirus cases in Singapore, according to the Ministry of Health.

Both the taxi driver who is 64 years old and private-hire car driver who is 53 years old do not have links to other cases.
