Cafes these days have got to step up their game. There’s probably an average of 5 cafes on every road. You step into one and you feel like you’ve seen them all. The same decor, the same coffee, and yes, the same old menu.
Here are 6 unique cafes you have to visit in JB to step out of the norm!
Roost, Recycled and Repurposed Café
This is one place where the furniture’s made up of recycled stuff. You’ll find the café quirky, yet welcoming at the same time. Expect to sit on mismatched chairs and take a deep breath as you take in the lopsided bookshelves!

The Replacement – Lodge & Kitchen
This is one of the latest cafés in JB, and it’s starting to become one of the best too. The decor screams minimalist, and it’s decked in white from its walls to its decor. Give the Friendly Eggs Benny a go!

Koone
This soft-serve café does the perfect take with matcha. Try a cone of Matcho – it’s served up to you with cornflakes, adzuki beans and topped off with a generous amount of honey. Delicious is the name game here, and they’ve got it down and dirty.
Just the way we like it.
