Nothing sounds more refreshing than gulping down a nice, cold bottle of Coke after a long and tiring day.
Although the taste of the original Coca-Cola drink is still as amazing as ever, you now have a larger variety to choose from every time you’re craving the fizzy drink. There are tons of interesting new flavours hitting the shelves and some of them just might be able to beat the original.
And today, we’re welcoming the newest member of the Coke family: Coca-Cola Apple!
Next week’s #ThirstyThursday got idea liao…
Coca-Cola Apple To Be Sold In 7-Eleven
7-Eleven Singapore has just announced on their Facebook page that they’ll be selling the world’s first Coca-Cola Apple, flown in all the way from Japan.
At selected outlets only though.
This means that you may have to do some searching around before you can actually find a 7-Eleven outlet where it’s available.
It will be sold at $2.50 per bottle.
Sound expensive, but every drink in 7-Eleven is always expensive, remember?
Made By Coca-Cola Japan
This latest Coca-Cola invention is from none other than the country that has always been blessing us with amazing things: Japan.
Coca-Cola Japan is celebrating the season of autumn with its new apple-flavoured coke.
I was slightly confused at first because an apple isn’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word “autumn”.
But I guess you learn something new every day.
The apple was chosen because it is one of Japan’s “fruits of autumn” harvested from October to December.
The pretty red and gold packaging sure does stand out.
Tastes Like Apple Juice Mixed With Coke
Upon making its official debut in Japan and Hong Kong, the bottles of Coca-Cola Apple are apparently “super difficult to track down” due to being sold out very quickly from the high demand.
“The Apple coke is quite light but the flavor is amazing. It tastes like a bit of apple juice is mixed in with the classic Coca-Cola formula. The flavor is not artificial at all which is great,” wrote @Junkfoodonthego on Instagram.
The addition of apple is supposed to give the Coca-Cola a “rich, luxurious taste”.
I guess there’s only one way to find out if that’s true.
7-Eleven has not specified when this limited-edition flavour will be available in stores until, but we’re pretty sure everyone will be making a beeline for it the moment they find out about its existence in Singapore.
Looks like it’s time to start raiding all the nearby 7-Elevens and grab as many of these as possible before it gets sold out!
