In the army, there’s always that one guy who acts as the lobang king.
“Eh, you need portable charger? I got one, charge you for cheaper than market rate.”
“You hungry? Lai come look at my warehouse, take what you like. Don’t worry my prices mcm value dollar store, cheap cheap.”
Yeah, sounds about right.
But like every notable characteristic out there, such personifications aren’t kept solely to the barracks. For over in the telecommunications industry…
Circles.Life is it.
1. They have a crazily good data plans before this
Yeah, I know; what’s the big deal with Circles.Life’s new data plan, seeing how they release such technicalities like every single day?
Well, for one, this new deal’s really sick. Even sicker than their previous one. Lest you’re unaware, they used to have a 20GB for $20 Data Plus option, which is admittedly enticing enough as it is.
But this new deal? It’s total bollocks.
And so without further ado, I present to you…
Circles.Life’s craziest plan so far.
2. Unlimited data
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, your data plan has just gone unlimited. From here on, get unlimited data on top of your Base Plan for just $20/month.
A steal? We think so too.
3. How do we sign up?
It’s actually pretty simple, with all things considered.
To get on the bandwagon, there are two routes available for your selection.
On one hand, you can choose to sign up and add unlimited data on top of your base plan.
If you’re an existing customer, however, you can simply go to your Circles.Life app and switch things up.
Convenient plus affordable? Sign me up.
4. But is it actually as good as it sounds?
Well, that varies.
On one hand, it’s true that you get unlimited data and everything, but usage after 20GB will be managed. Connection will never be disconnected though, and users will still be able to surf the internet and use apps. According to the telco, this is to ensure that their network remains great for everyone.
… yeah, like they say there’s a catch to everything.
It’s unknown what “managed” mean: go back to 3G? 2G? 1G?
Nevertheless, there’s a pricey trick to ensure optimum speeds even after 20GB of usage.
5. Need a boost?
Should you feel the need to be back on 4G+ speeds, you can choose to buy a Boost. This ‘costly’ apparel will make sure that your connection’s all-top again.
Once you buy a boost, simply turn your airplane mode on and off again, and you’re all ready to go!
Wait, doesn’t that means paying more for the so-called “unlimited” plan after 20 GB? Hmm.
According to their website, it’ll cost $3 for a whole day unlimited boost, or $10 for 2GB. Still cheaper than other telcos #justsaying
6. Don’t say bo jio though
According to the telco, all new signups for a Circles.Life Base Plan (excluding $0 /mo Flexi Plan) will get UNLIMITED Data FREE for their first month! After that, the $20 /mo payment will be added to your monthly bills.
If that doesn’t sound like ample incentive to get it, I don’t know what is.
Plus, should you already be subscribed to the 20GB for $20 Data Plus, you will automatically be upgraded to the UNLIMITED Data Add-on at no extra cost!
Is that dope or what?
7. A potential price war coming on
To enunciate the importance of the headline, here’s a comparison between Circles.Life and the average telco out there.
So yeah, seeing how the prices vary so prominently, we’ve a feeling a huge price war’s gonna come on soon.
Lucky for us consumers, I’m sure.
8. Is Circles.Life trustworthy though?
I know what you’re thinking, especially if you’re the kind that stolidly refuses to believe in anything that sounds ‘too good to be true’:
Are they actually trustworthy (will they run away with my money, ala oBike?)
Well, just recently, Circles.Life closed a Series C round of financing led by Sequoia India to expand to international markets, and continue to redefine the mobile telecom sector by expanding the company’s range of personalized digital services.
The company also plans to launch in more than five countries in the next 18 months, including Taiwan in Q2 2019 and Australia in Q3 2019, and will invest more than $50 million in each launch.
Plus, they were voted as the telco with the best customer service in Singapore by Singapore’s finance community Seedly, and they charter over 300 employees across Singapore, The Philippines, Indonesia & Bangalore.
So with all things said, I reckon they’re worth trusting.
And so… what’re you waiting for?
If you’re the kind that bursts data limits month after month, with no breaks in between…
It’s time to switch things up.
So opt for Circles.Life’s newest plan today, and enjoy all the insta stories to your heart’s content! 🙂
