On 8 Feb 2021, Singapore added 4 new millionaires to its already impressive ranks.

In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m referring to the latest Toto draw, which has its prize pool compounded to S$12.5 million.

That’s due to the fact that no one won the S$5 million draw on Friday, despite the huge crowds.

There Were 4 Winners in 8 Feb TOTO

Again, if we haven’t emphasised it enough, four people became millionaires overnight, with each person walking away with S$3.13 million.

If you’ve always hesitated between picking up a QuickPick ticket or a System 7 ticket, this latest draw might just bring one lesson to your attention.

It doesn’t matter how much you spend; if it’s yours, it’s yours.

Three out of the four winners for yesterday’s draw were ordinary entries.

Two Quickpick tickets (picked randomly by the computer) and one Ordinary entry (pick six numbers yourself), while the sole remaining ticket was a System 7 entry.

Last year, 1 person walked away with the S$12 million Toto prize. The winning ticket was a $1 QuickPick Ordinary ticket picked up from the Fairprice at Bukit Batok MRT Station.

So when you make a bet, spend within your means. If it’s meant to be yours, it will be yours.

Now, if you’re someone who doesn’t believe in making your own luck, and chose to depend on external factors, here are the four outlets which sold the tickets:

  • 7-Eleven Owen Road – Blk 45 Owen Rd #01-295 (1 QuickPick Ordinary Entry)
  • Lucky Hill – Blk 112 Bukit Purmei Road #01-209 (1QuickPick Ordinary)
  • NTUC FP Serangoon Central Hypermart – 23 Serangoon Central #03-42 NEX (1 System 7 Entry)
  • Singapore Pools Account Betting Service (1 Ordinary Entry)

Yes, in case you’ve missed it, one of the winners won by placing a bet from the comforts of his or her home.

By the way, we’ve also compiled a list of the “luckiest” Singapore Pools outlets in Singapore.
