We love eggs. Who doesn’t? I mean, you can fry them, steam them, poach them and do all sorts of crazy things with them.
Back then, my momma told me not to eat too many eggs because it’ll give me high cholesterol, so I had to limit myself to two eggs every couple of days.

Well, no more!
Known as a superfood, here are 8Â crazy benefits that’ll happen to you if you consume two eggs every day.
You’re welcome 😉
1. Your Brain & Memory Improves
Eggs contain an amazing nutrient called choline. They’re an essential building block for your brain and studies show consuming eggs can improve your memory and brain development.
Students, other than praying to the Bell Curve God, you might want to consider eating more eggs. If it makes you feel better, eat two eggs and a single stalk of vegetable every day. Geddit? 😀
2. Reduce the Risk of Cancer
Choline, the nutrient mentioned in #1, not only helps your brain and memory functions but also serve to reduce the risk of cancer.
In a study, it was found that women who have a higher consumption of eggs, fiber and vegetable fat reduced their risk of getting breast cancer by 18%.
3. Protect Your Eyesight
If you’re someone who uses your smartphone (for whatever reason) in the dark at night, works in front of the computer for four hours straight or does anything else that’s harmful to your eyesight, you need to eat more eggs.

Eggs contain lutein, a carotenoid important for eye and skin health. Studies have shown that lutein helps to fight cataract and age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which is the loss of central vision.
4. Strengthen Your Bones and Teeth
Always have nightmares about having to wear dentures or having brittle bones? Here’s a way to deter it for some time, eat some eggs.
It’s proven that Vitamin D in eggs will help your body absorb calcium better, which will, in turn, make your teeth and bones stronger.
Vitamin D helps protect older people from osteoporosis.
5. Protects Your Hair, Skin and Liver
Yes, this is what you ladies (and some men) are looking for, right? Perfect skin, long lustrous hair and a healthy liver.

Eggs, as we all know, is a good source of protein. If you were to compare the egg to other food in terms of protein, it’s probably like the SAF leopard tank, packed full of punch.
Vitamin B12 and other digestible proteins help to strengthen your hair and skin. Phospholipids contained within eggs also help to eliminate toxins from the liver.
6. Reduce the Risk of Cardiovascular Diseases
People used to believe that eating too many eggs contribute to cardiovascular diseases but a new study disproved that theory.
In fact, it was shown that eggs contain omega-3 acids which reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
7. You Lose Weight
Eggs make you feel fuller; eat a low-calorie breakfast combined with two eggs and your breakfast will last longer.

This means you’ll eat lesser during the day, so weight loss!
8. You’ll Make Healthy Babies
Vitamin B9, also known as folic acid, is necessary for the development and growth of the fetus during pregnancy. A deficiency of this vitamin could lead to reduced mental capabilities of the child.
One of the 13 essential vitamins, this cannot be created by the body and must be consumed. 1 chicken egg contains 7.0 mcg of the vitamin.
