An 84-year-old man died after being struck by a minibus at the junction of Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 and Choa Chu Kang Central on Monday morning, 26 May 2025.
Fatal Collision at Choa Chu Kang Junction Claims Elderly Man’s Life
Police received an alert at approximately 6:15am.
The elderly pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 53-year-old male minibus driver was arrested for careless driving causing death.
Police investigations are currently ongoing.
Police Response and Accident Scene Documentation
Footage of the accident’s aftermath appeared on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook group shortly after the crash.
The video showed a blue police tent positioned between the minibus and a police car in the rightmost lane.
Police typically use these blue tents to shield deceased victims’ bodies from public view.
At least two police cars and four police motorcycles were parked nearby. Several uniformed officers were present, with some seen speaking to a man at the location.
