Living in Singapore definitely has its perks, one of it being the fact that we get access to cheap and good food everywhere we go – regardless if they are from MRT Stations (yes, some of them are pretty good), 7/11, or even at your neighborhood coffee shops. With the standard of living rising every year, we always need cheaper food alternatives to keep our bank accounts in check, or just so that we will be able to enjoy a better lunch or dinner.
As they say, breakfasts are the most important meals of the day, so don’t forget to grab some while you are on your way to work or to school! Running out of ideas? Here are 10 breakfasts you can find in Singapore  under S$2.50 that are so delicious, yet so cheap.
1. S$1.80 Mee Jiang Kueh – The Pantree

The Mee Jiang Kueh at The Pantree comes in flavors such as peanut, pork floss, and ham, also giving you the liberty to DIY  your very own flavors. The peanut pancakes here are priced as low at S$1.80, and are extremely gratifying to savor.

The gravy at Sungei Road Laksa comes in a shade of a gorgeous orange and was light, flavourful and not overly spicy – using less coconut milk which is much easier on our palates in the morning. The bowl of laksa is also topped with a generous amount of cockles, laksa leaves and bean sprouts – my favorite!
