If you haven’t heard, Choa Chu Kang is the next it neighbourhood to be in. Who says so? Well, we say so. Having lived here for years, I’m sure all Choa Chu Kang residents can attest to the awesomeness of this neighbourhood. There is no other place we’d rather be (to borrow a line from the National Day song). If you don’t believe us, just look at the facts below and you will see why CCK is the best place to be.
The LRT system
The LRT links us to Bukit Panjang, which in turn, links us to all the central parts of Singapore via the Downtown line. Convenient much!
Where North meets West
We are accessible from both the West and East. This means that we can go to Jurong (which is touted as the next CBD) and also easily visit JB for a short overseas trip.
Going to the Zoo is a breeze
Whether you want to visit the famous night safari or the giant pandas at the new river safari, the only way to get there via public transport is to take 927 from Choa Chu Kang Interchange.
Many food options around
With Yew Tee and Bukit Panjang commonly considered as part of the entire CCK district, we have triple the food options of other typical neighbourhood. Bukit Panjang itself already has three major hawker centres!
Many parks for nature-lovers
Just to name a few, Stagmont Park, Limbang Park and Tembusu Park are easily within reach. Park connectors also allow us to easily access Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Bukit Batok Nature Park.
Upcoming medical hub
There will be a medical facility that caters to families and kids in the near future—bringing even more convenience to the new families popping up in the new CCK BTO flats.
Our own sports stadium
Not every neighbourhood can boast its own sports stadium and the last time we checked, there are less than 25 public sports stadium in Singapore. Ours includes a gym, swimming centre, dancing centre and even 4 tennis courts.
Facilities for animal-lovers
Just to name a few, Farmart, ACRES and SPCA all have set up a place in CCK. Animal lovers know that Choa Chu Kang is definitely their place.
