Mediacorp has been named TV Network of the Year at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2026, receiving the Blue Dolphin award for the top network honour.
The award, announced on 25 September 2026, came after four CNA documentaries won two Gold Dolphins and two Silver Dolphins at the same awards ceremony.
The recognition also marked the third major broadcaster award for Mediacorp this year, following Broadcaster of the Year wins at the World Media Festivals and New York Festivals TV & Film.
Four CNA Documentaries Receive Awards
The four CNA documentaries that contributed to Mediacorp’s TV Network of the Year win were:
One “Orphan” Every Hour won a Gold Dolphin in the Human Concerns and Social Issues category.
Walk the Line: ICE Nation won a Gold Dolphin in the Political Issues category.
Chiang Kai-shek: Shadow Across the Strait won a Silver Dolphin in the History and Personalities/Portraits category.
The Mark of Empire: Kingdoms of the Sea won a Silver Dolphin in the Ethnology and Sociology category.
The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards recognise work in corporate films, online media and documentaries, with awards including Gold, Silver and Blue Dolphins. The Blue Dolphin is awarded to the best production company, agency, business and TV or streaming network of the year.
Mediacorp said the four documentary wins reflected the range of CNA’s factual storytelling, covering topics including social issues, politics, history and culture.
Walter Fernandez Says Awards Recognise CNA’s Global Work
Mediacorp Editor-in-Chief Walter Fernandez said the Blue Dolphin win was a recognition of CNA’s work in bringing Asian perspectives to global audiences.
He added that the Cannes recognition, following earlier Broadcaster of the Year awards at the World Media Festivals in Berlin and New York Festivals TV & Film, completed a hat-trick of international recognition for Mediacorp in a single year.
The award-winning documentaries are available through mewatch and CNA’s platforms, according to Mediacorp.
