If you’ve participated in drinking games before, you would probably know one thing:
They can get pretty wild.
Indeed, intoxicating, sexy and oftentimes ‘mindless’, these drinking games could either mean a whole night of harmless fun…
Or sheer toxic fun with loads of dire consequences, as these British Airline crew members realised the hard way.
Damn, that must’ve been a night to remember.
Airline Crew Allegedly Ran Around Naked in S’pore Hotel & Throwing A Staff Into Pool
According to The New Paper, three British Airways (BA) crew members have been suspended, and could potentially lose their jobs after allegedly running naked in a Singapore hotel.
This was in accordance with an earlier report by The Sun, which mentioned that the two men and a woman (who have since been sent home) had been part of a drinking session during a stopover here.
Quoting an inside source, the British news site reported that the cabin crew had smuggled alcohol from the plane “to have a good time” during their layover, following a 14-hour flight from Heathrow Airport in London.
There were also, apparently, some pretty questionable acts in the process.
“There were some frisky crew members on this plane. There was snogging and stripping and fumbling between the crew members, who were all naked,” the source alleged.
“It didn’t take long for ‘spin the bottle’ to start – it is a drinking game with ludicrous and increasingly daring forfeits designed to get everyone steaming drunk.”
While intoxicated, the trio accepted a dare to run naked up and down a corridor, all while knocking on the doors of other guests.
Exciting as it might be to the intoxicated personnel in question, it didn’t feel as such to those disturbed. One, a BA official, was reportedly so “disgusted” that he reported the antics to their bosses in London.
It’s not clear which hotel the BA crew were lodging in.
“We expect the highest standards of behaviour from our teams around the world at all times and we are investigating what happened,” BA said in an e-mail when contacted by The New Paper.
“We do not tolerate unruly behaviour by colleagues and will always fully investigate claims and take whatever action is required.”

Not the first time British Airways touched a line
Just last year, BA cabin crew were linked to a case of outrage of modesty in a Singapore hotel.
According to British media, a crew member had allegedly raped an air stewardess while on a stopover here.
The incident reportedly happened during “an off-duty drinks party”, the Daily Mail reported. It’s believed to have transpired at Hotel Jen Tanglin, The Straits Times reported.
A 46-year-old British man was subsequently arrested, though the outcome’s unknown.
According to several British and international news sites, Johannesburg, Las Vegas, Bangkok and Singapore are some of the cities where BA employees are notorious for their behaviour.

Cabin crew contacted by TNP have also revealed that drinking and room parties are fairly common among crew members, and that sex and interactions of a sexual nature are not uncommon among them and pilots.
However, there’s still a line that you should never cross.
“(What the BA crew did) seems overboard, because wherever you go, you must be aware that you are representing your airline and your country,” said a former stewardess, who wished to be known only as Rachel.
And so… now what?
Well, it’s simple really:
“Do it, but don’t get caught.”
Oh, correction.

“Do it, but don’t do it drunk. And don’t get caught.”
After all, intoxication brings out the worst of us.
Hardly something you’ll want to flaunt in your employer’s face after putting in a grand show during the interview process, is it?
