Confirmed: Alien Huang Had Died from Cardiovascular Complication; Memorial to be Held from Today (19 Sept)

16 Sep was a sad day for many people all around the world.

Popular TV host and all-around entertainer Alien Huang (小鬼), was found dead in his home by his father.

According to reports, when he was found, he seems to be dead for quite some time as his body was showing signs of rigour mortis.

Then, his manager had confirmed the star’s death but said that he’ll announce the cause of death at a later date.

Cardiovascular Complication

On 18 Sep 2020, the autopsy on Alien Huang was completed.

His manager said that the Taiwanese celebrity had passed away due to cardiovascular complications.

Findings indicated that he suffered an aortic dissection, leading to a blockage of his blood vessel.

According to Mayo Clinic, the aorta is a large blood vessel branching off from the heart.

An aortic dissection occurs when the inner layer of the aorta tears and blood surges through the wound, causing the middle and inner layers to separate.

Aortic dissection is relatively uncommon and typically appears in men aged in their 60s and 70s.

No Heart Conditions

His manager, only known as Dino, also added that Huang has no known heart conditions. In addition, he exercises regularly as well.

A memorial for Huang has been arranged, starting today (19 Sep 2020) and lasting for three days.

It was additionally reported that several well-known figures were present at the memorial, including his previously-undisclosed girlfriend, Wu Han-chun, actor Kunda Hsien and wife, Alice Ko whose also an actress, Hsiu Chieh-kai and his wife, Alyssa Chia, as well as actress Janine Chang.

His Works That Were Produced Will Still Be Released

The star’s manager added that they have plans to release Huang’s music and posthumous television work.

He said that Huang has been preparing for his album and they won’t make any changes to it.

“Whatever has been produced, whatever he left behind, we will find a time to present it to the public. This includes programmes he has already filmed as well. We will let his performances be seen.”

Some of his past works include Michelle Chong’s directorial debut, 一炮而红, as well as an upcoming Singapore movie, Fat Hope.

His girlfriend, who was previously undisclosed, decided to reveal her relationship with Huang in a touching tribute.
