If you’ve fully committed to the introvert life during the Covid-19 pandemic, you might be familiar with Among Us.
Released in 2018, the online mobile and PC game has taken the gaming world by storm amidst the pandemic.
For those who have a social life (unlike me), here’s how the game works:
4-10 players are dropped onto an alien spaceship and designated one of two roles – crewmate or imposter.
The crewmate is assigned a series of tasks, which will get the spaceship up and running again.
However, they have to do so with one or several imposters running around, whose sole purpose is to kill and weed out all the crewmates aboard the spaceship.
Crewmates can discuss and decide who they think the imposter is, and vote them off the ship before it’s too late.
But if the imposter kills all the crewmates before they complete their tasks, they win.
You can watch this video we’ve done about the game (watch to the end to know how it got so popular, and do subscribe to our YouTube channel for more informative and entertaining videos):
While crewmates and imposters are typically found on your phone or PC, one has recently been spotted on the MRT.
Among Us Character Spotted in MRT
A yellow Among Us character was spotted on the MRT by netizens on two occasions. They later uploaded pictures of the crewmate/imposter on Reddit.
In the first picture, it seems as if Yellow is taking a break, as she’s taken her helmet off.
She was also on her phone, so she was likely just a lazy crewmate instead of an imposter.
The second picture, however, is a little more incriminating.
As you can see, Yellow has set her sights on the emergency button, which no one would dare to press, unless it was an actual emergency.
Was this part of the tasks assigned to her? Was she calling an emergency meeting because she found the imposter?
Or was she trying to stop the train so she could get rid of all the commuters?
Netizens certainly believed she was sus.Â

Cosplaying In Orchard
In all seriousness, what was this Among Us player doing on the MRT?
One Redditor said he spotted several of these characters walking around Orchard, wearing multiple variations of the suit.
Given that the pictures were uploaded on Halloween, others speculated that these characters must have been cosplayers attending some sort of event.
In any case, Yellow doesn’t seem to be sus, as she’s wearing a face mask and cares about the safety of other passengers.
Or maybe that’s what she wants us to think.Â
