The #metoo movement has proven that the people you least suspect can turn out to be sexual predators.
Like comedian Louis C.K. and House of Cards actor Kevin Spacey, for instance.

Following the widespread sexual-abuse allegations against Harvey Weinstein in early October 2017, many other women have come forward accusing male celebrities of sexual misconduct.

Actor Ansel Elgort Accused Of Sexual Assault By 17YO Girl
Actor Anserl Elgort has been accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl back in 2014.
The woman, Gabby, came forward on Friday (19 June) and shared her story of the alleged assault on Twitter, reported The Daily Mail.
According to Gabby, she had sent Elgort a text message two days before her 17th birthday, and he responded to her directly on Snapchat.
She mentions “sobbing in pain” during the alleged sexual assault, claiming Elgort was indifferent to the pain she was experiencing:
“Instead of asking me if I wanted to stop having sex knowing it was my first time and I was sobbing in pain and I didn’t want to do it the only words that came out of his mouth were ‘we need to break you in’,” she claimed.
“I disassociated myself and just felt like my mind was gone I was in shock I couldn’t leave I was only 5’2 and 98 pounds. He made me think this is how sex was supposed to be”, Gabby added.
Gabby also claims that Elgort asked her for nude photos when she was 17.

In addition, Elgort allegedly asked Gabby for a threesome with one of her dancer friends who was ‘underage’ as well but didn’t tell anyone because the actor said it would “ruin his career”.
Gabby says she suffers from panic attacks and PTSD because of the incident and has to go to therapy.
“I’m posting this so I can finally heal and I know I’m not alone and he’s done this to other girls,” she said.

More evidence. More facts. Take it since you can't believe a harassment or rape victim unless you see "evidence".#AnselElgortisoverparty #anselisoverparty https://t.co/374ky0wqbs

Why Now?
Whenever a woman accuses a celebrity of sexual misconduct, fans of the celebrity will inevitably ask: “Why didn’t you say anything earlier?”.
By asking this, however, they are answering their own question.
Many women fear coming forward with sexual allegations, especially against powerful men, because there’s a history of them not being believed, ignored, or even attacked.

The reason why so many women are coming forward now is that the #metoo movement has given sexual assault survivors the confidence to speak out against their attackers after seeing so many others do the same and get justice.
When someone goes to the police station claiming their car was stolen, we wouldn’t accuse them of lying, would we? So why do it when woman speak out about their stories of sexual abuse?
Recounting your traumatic sexual assault is not easy. So, when they do find the strength to do it, listen, and believe.
