As a kid, I’ve always enjoyed having different hairstyles that I could wear to school. I would always ask my mom to help me tie different styles because I wanted to be able to wear the various hair accessories that she bought me.
For some reason, my hair was my pride. To me back then, fancy braids were so pretty and I would beg my mom to do them for me, even if it meant that I had to wake up slightly earlier.

11-year-old Isabelle Pieri in Utah loved having her hair braided too, but that had to stop when her mother lost her life to a rare brain illness three years ago.
She tried to do her own hair, but she struggled with it because she didn’t have much experience. Plus it’s super tiring when you have to constantly lift your hands up to do your hair. I don’t get how some girls do it.

Her school bus driver, Tracy Dean, noticed this when she picked Isabelle up and seeing her struggle with her hair made Tracy feel the urge to help her out. And ever since then, it has become their morning routine where she will style and braid Isabelle’s hair for her.
