Singapore has been having its fair share of Presidential Election drama.
Since we are on the topic of Presidents, let’s share some news about the former President of the United States (aka POTUS), Mr Donald J. Trump.
Mr Trump is back. Or is he?
He’s back on X (formerly known as Twitter). But he’s not back in society as he may be headed to prison soon.
A mugshot of Mr Trump has gone viral shortly after it was posted.
Here is what you should know about Mr Trump’s mugshot and his inmate number.
Mr Trump Was Arrested and Had His Mugshot Released
For those who keep up with politics on the other side of the world, you may be aware that Mr Trump was arrested over charges of plotting to overturn the state’s 2020 presidential election results.
Mr Trump was released from the Atlanta jail after paying US$ 200,000 in bail bonds (approximately S$ 271,460).
With Mr Trump temporarily gaining freedom, his mugshot from his recent arrest also gained “freedom”.
The mugshot taken of the former President was released on social media, with many circulating the photo.
It became a viral hit, if you will.
Mr Trump has also joined in the fun, releasing his mugshot image on social media platform X.

In his post, he showed his frowning face with a bed of golden hair.
His post identified the mugshot taken on 24 August 2023.
Mr Trump also said “never surrender” to “election interference” and linked his website, donaldjtrump.com in the post.
What a bombastic and flamboyant way of announcing to the world that you do not find yourself guilty.
He Was Assigned an Inmate Number as Well
Interestingly enough, Mr Trump was also assigned an inmate number.
The Hill reports that documents they looked at showed Mr Trump’s inmate number as P01135809.
Other personal information of Mr Trump, such as his height and weight were also included in the official documents.
For those curious, Mr Trump’s height is recorded as 6’3″(190.5 cm) and he weighs 215 pounds (97.5 kg).
The documents also revealed that Mr Trump was not to use social media to intimidate co-defendants or witnesses in his ongoing case as part of his bail conditions.
Given that the former President finally made a comeback on X after about two years (his previous tweet was on 8 January 2021), we sure hope he can keep to that bail condition.
Over in TikTok, there’s a drama involving property agents that’s caused by us. Here’s what happened:
