Every time you walk past an Auntie Anne’s outlet, you’ll find yourself unconsciously turning your head.
That’s because you want to catch another whiff of the baked pretzel fragrance wafting out from the store.
Unfortunately, for our Muslim friends, that was all they could do because it wasn’t halal-certified.
But, well, guess what? If you’re a Muslim friend who’ve always wanted to try Auntie Anne’s famed pretzels for yourself, I’ve got great news for you:
All Auntie Anne’s Outlets in S’pore Are Now Halal-Certified
On 1 Dec 2021, the iconic pretzel chain announced that all eight of their outlets in Singapore are now halal-certified.
While it was tough trying to obtain the certificate, especially during the pandemic, they are happy to finally do it to serve their Muslim customers.
Confirmed By HalalHub Consultants Pte Ltd
HalalHub Consultants Pte Ltd, as their name suggests, is an F&B consultant that helps establishments that want to serve halal food obtain their certification.
And it seems they had a part to play in Auntie Anne’s obtaining its halal certification.
So if you’re glad that you can eat Auntie Anne’s food now, you know who to thank.
