Man, I wish I could travel more.
Especially to try the cuisines and experience varying cultures from around the world!
Sadly, my ever-shrinking wallet often gives me a reality check that I should save money better.
Can a money tree grow if I plant a dollar in the soil?
One of the countries I’ve always wanted to go to was Thailand, especially since I’ve scarcely tried any authentic Thai food at all.
But maybe all of us here in Singapore can get that experience soon.
Thai Market In Singapore
We don’t even need to leave the country!
The famous Chatuchak Market will be in Singapore from 4 February to 3 May 2020.
Held at The Grandstand in Turf Club for the period, the market will hold an enormous amount of stalls for you to experience Thai culture.
Enormous how?
Like around 100 food and drink stalls, more than 80 retail and service ones with some flown in directly from Bangkok.
The market will also have as many as 400 seats for visitors to just chill if you get tired of walking around or to just take a break and eat.
If that isn’t giving you the authentic experience then I don’t know what else to tell you.
Also, it’s going to be around for quite a while. No excuse for myself too to miss it this time.
For those of you who drive, the parking is also free! The only downside is that you have to fight for your lot since there’ll likely be a lot of people there.
Shuttle buses will also be provided at various locations too!
I’m probably going to be up in arms to try all the food stalls available there since chances like this don’t come too often.
Which also means gaining weight but who’s counting, right?
This actually looks perfect for Singapore’s burning heat and humidity.
This one just makes me thirsty for some juice now.
Semi obligatory non-food example because if you let me go on about food I probably wouldn’t stop.
The hand-made items still look mad cool, though.
Exact Address
This is more of a reminder in case you missed it above.
Or you lazy to google it.
Address: The Grandstand, 200 Turf Club Road, Singapore 287994
In case you get confused, The Grandstand isn’t next to Kranji MRT Station. That one is Singapore Turf Club lah.
It’s still a bit away but I suggest you start saving money now. The Chatuchak Market will be here for a long time and you don’t want to miss anything!
