Seems like Bedok 85 Fengshan Centre has joined the other Bedok areas where fights have taken place.
In 2018, there was a family fight that broke out at the Bedok Reservoir Road coffee shop. A year later, a fight between a couple took place at Bedok Bus Interchange.
Which begs the question: is there something at Bedok that just makes you want to throw punches at someone?
Brief Fight Among Three Grown Men At Fengshan Food Centre
On Aug 30, a 2-minute video was uploaded on Facebook which showed two men getting into a verbal argument before pushing and shoving happened and finally some punches were exchanged.
According to Mothership, one of the men wearing long pants, who we shall call lao beng 1, was having drinks when the other man with tattoos on his legs (hereby dubbed lao beng 2), was accused of shouting vulgarities and staring at the other group.
The two men then decided to settle things in an area behind the hawker centre beside the dumpster.
Weird Conversation
The conversation, which was also captured in the video, started with lao beng 2 asking lao beng 1 to ‘come over’.
The pair then started asking each other what they wanted before going on to throw accusations around.
The conversation eventually moves on to the topic of each other’s happiness level.
At around the 1:30 minute mark, you can see a third man in a grey t-shirt rushing onto the scene and trying, rather unsuccessfully, to finish the fight.
Not being very helpful
Dubbed the “John Cena” of the fight, the man in the grey shirt tries to stop the fight but sadly, falls on his behind a number of times.
Numerous comments on Facebook have stated that the man in the grey shirt was not helping with stopping the fight at all and that they “lost count of how many times he fell without landing a punch” on either man.
The video was cut off abruptly but apparently, there’s now an update on the fight.
Update: Facial Injuries In The Aftermath
In a video uploaded on 31 Aug 2020, it shows the facial injuries of two men, purportedly the ones involved in the Bedok 85 fight.
The man in long black pants (lao beng 2) has a bloodied nose while “John Cena” (man in grey) suffered a black eye and looked confused.
They were asking the cameraman to take photos and to “take a look”.
It wasn’t known if a police report was lodged.
