It’s tough luck to get yourself involved in a road accident.

It’s even tougher luck to be involved in two within the span of minutes.

And yet, it appears that the following motorcyclist has contravened the popular notion in ‘magnificent’ fashion.

A motorcyclist was caught up in 2 separate traffic incidents…

All within the span of just two minutes.

The incidents reportedly occurred at Jurong West on Tuesday (1 December 2020).

On-site footage was also shared on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook group and YouTube channel yesterday (3 December 2020).

In the first accident, the motorcyclist can be seen bypassing a Honda on the left-most lane.

He then inches towards the dashcam car before crashing into its boot, which prompts the afflicted driver to get out and take photos.

At one point, the motorcyclist tried to “wipe” the impacted boot with his hand, but was dissuaded by the driver.

Seemingly at a loss as to what to do, the rider slowly walked back to his bike and rode off, before the afflicted driver could exchange contact details.

Two minutes later, the motorcyclist got into yet another accident, this time on Jurong West Street 64.

In the footage, he can be seen attempting to go through the gap between two buses, only to hit the side of the SBS bus and fall in front of it.

The drivers of both buses then alighted to offer assistance, but the rider simply rode off without a word – again.

Maybe It’s Not Tough Luck After All

Apparently, there may be more to the accidents than just careless driving and a great deal of bad luck.

According to Lianhe Zaobaoone of the drivers claimed that the motorcyclist smelled of alcohol.

That could explain the rider’s awkward sense of balance, and his behaviour after getting into an accident.

He’s also reported to have accumulated outstanding traffic police fines since 2014.

The police have since been made aware of the first incident, and is currently conducting investigations.

Meanwhile, the Facebook post has gone viral, garnering over 250 shares within a day.

Netizens have also expressed their disapproval over the motorcyclist’s actions, with some calling for his arrest.

A few even recognised the wayward rider, which could mean that he has been grating on nerves since some time ago.
