If you haven’t heard, there’s been a repeat of the “hit-lorry-side-mirror-almost-knock-down-biker” case in Singapore.
No, not the bicycle one. The motorcycle one.

Popular Facebook page ROADS.sg uploaded a video about an incident along East Coast Road

It started with a motorcyclist slamming a lorry door shut while a food delivery rider came forward to play the mediator.
The kind soul tried to calm the angry motorcyclist down but he didn’t manage to stop him from pulling a karate kid on the poor side mirror.
Meanwhile, there’s an oncoming bus just behind the dispute.
And then, this happened.
Here’s a closer look in case you can’t see what happened clearly.
The lorry drove out and took a swerve. Thankfully, the motorcyclist escaped but his motorcycle got hit and fell to the ground.
So there you are, wondering, what could’ve started the entire thing off?
Well, the folks at TNP decided to check it out and this was what they’ve found.

Current Episode: How It Got Started
The employer of the lorry driver has given his side of the story.
According to him, it was because the motorcyclist felt that the lorry was driving too slowly.
The biker had honked at the lorry before overtaking the vehicle and stopping right in front of him.
Forced Open The Door And Asked Him To Get Out
In the video, you see the biker slam the door of the lorry shut.
But here’s what allegedly happened.

The biker had shouted at the lorry driver, asking him to get out of the vehicle. When he refused, the biker forced open the door and attempted to pull him out of the vehicle.
It was when the driver refused to budge that he got even more agitated.
Which explains the kung-fu kick to the side mirror of the lorry.
How About The Lorry Almost Knocking Down The Biker?
It was also seen in the video that the lorry started moving suddenly and swerved, seemingly bent on knocking the angry biker down.
But that, according to the employer, was simply an accident.

His driver was simply trying to move around the motorcycles parked in front of the vehicle.
I guess this one commenter got it right.
But, The Real Mystery Still Isn’t Solved

Deliveroo said that they’re aware of the incident while Foodpanda did not respond to TNP’s queries at the time of writing.
