We have seen all kinds of soft serve in Singapore, but Black Soy Soft Serve ice cream? Well, that’s a first!
Located at the temporary Yishun Bus Interchange, Dofu is a stall selling vegan soy soft serve! And instead of using dairy-based products like milk, their ice cream, and chilled pudding contain no gelatin or artificial coloring or flavouring, making it a healthy and vegan-friendly option!
If you were wondering, the gray colour of our ice-cream is naturally derived from bamboo charcoal, which is a natural ingredient with multiple benefits like improving metabolism and blood circulation! For those who loves eating ice cream but are afraid of gaining excess calories, you’ll be happy to know that the soft serve at Dofu is absolutely fat-free!
There, you can choose from 3 different types of Dofu soft serve that comes in various sizes and toppings.
There, you can choose from toppings like flavoured popping juice balls, nuts, granola, fresh fruits, chocolate crunchies and various sauces like salted caramel.
With more than 30 toppings to choose from, these alcohol-free toppings are everything you need to pimp up your soft serve for an Instagram-worthy shot.
For us, we got the regular Dofu soft serve which came with 2 toppings of our choice! We opted for the mango popping ball and fresh strawberries to complete our dessert. Unlike other soft serves, the ones at Dofu was silky, creamy and very soft which was an absolute delight to savour. However, since it is prepared using soybeans, it also contributed to it melting pretty quickly.

Other than soft serve, Dofu also serves dofu pudding with soft serve! The Dofu pudding is first prepared with 2 toppings tucked in the middle, before filling the cup up with more dofu soft serve! It’s perfect for those who are looking for a switch in textures!
