VW Car Parked at BlueSG Parking Lot So BlueSG Driver Parked in Front of It & Trapped It

An eye for an eye.

And a car for a car.

Or at least, that’s what this particular driver appears to have done, after he planted a BlueSG vehicle right in front of an illegally parked Volkswagen.

As a Wise Old Man once said:

“Karma works in mysterious ways.”

VW Car Parked at BlueSG Parking Lot So BlueSG Driver Parked & Trapped It

In a Facebook post on 7 November 2020, a user posted a series of photos on the platform, alongside the accompanying caption:

“Successful Ended Trip.”

Though it may seem harmless at first glance, one only has to look closer to get a whole different… picture of things.

Yes folks, your eyes aren’t deceiving you.

The BlueSG vehicle was indeed parked in front of the Volkswagen, and it was done so intentionally.

But before we jump the gun and call out the driver of the BlueSG car for being an inconsiderate prick, let’s put on our Crimewatch caps and take a closer look at the scene.

For starters, you may notice how the parking lot, where the Volkswagen is situated, is a little different from the rest.

Positioned with what seems to be a charging port within reach, the parking lot appears to be for the use of Electronic Vehicles (EV). Or in this case, BlueSG cars.

This notion is strengthened by the fact that there’s a BlueSG car right beside it.

And so, if the notion rings true, it would mean that the Volkswagen has parked in the wrong lot…

Entailing a “crime” of illegal parking on its part.

Now, as for the act of parking a BlueSG vehicle right in front of it…

It’s highly possible that the driver was trying to teach the errant party a lesson.

Or as some people may put it, self-driven karma.

But of course, the driver could earnestly just be attempting to charge the car, as verifiable by the extending charging cable.

Though with all due respect…

We highly doubt that.

And Netizens Approved

Since then, the post has collated over 1.7K likes & reactions, as well as over 3.6K shares.

Over 140 responses have also made their way into the comments section, with most expressing approval in regards to the user’s act.

In general, Netizens seem to feel that the Volkswagen driver deserved a tough lesson for such an inconsiderate act.

Well, the Netizens sure are united this time around.

Incidentally, for those wondering about how charging-enabled parking lots work, here’s a rough picture of what goes on behind the scenes.

According to BlueSG.com, Electric Vehicles (EV) can be charged using the EMA-approved Type 2 Vehicle inlet.

And that would mean the car would’ve been “returned”, if not it’s still considered “rented”, which will incur costs for the rener.

Their charging service is available at designated BlueSG charge points, which are located islandwide.
