A female customer told Shin Min Daily News that that after buying noodles, she reached behind the counter to grab an extra bowl while the staff were busy.
A male staff member immediately stopped her, reportedly raising his voice.
The customer, who asked to stay anonymous, said, “I was just taking one bowl, but they seem against customers taking anything extra.”
She then left after telling the staff they were impolite.
Shin Min Daily News then went to the stall, and there were indeed small bowls were stored behind the counter near the cooking area, while condiments like soy sauce and chilli were placed at another end for self-service.
The staff member denied shouting to the female customer. He explained they follow food hygiene regulations where only staff with clean hands can handle utensils.
“I spoke to her in English and offered her a bowl, but she refused, put it back, and stormed off,” he said.
He added that the customer displayed aggressive behaviour and returned later to take photos. “We were following protocol. We have CCTV footage to verify this,” he stated.

The argument had also drew onlookers at the food court. An unnamed witness confirmed both parties raised their voices during the exchange, which delayed other customers waiting in line.
