Boyfriend Collapsed & Died When Chasing After His Girlfriend During An Argument

Whether we’re talking about relationships, work or life in general, when problems arise, our first response is to run away.

Reality hurts and it’s easier to escape for a while. However, are we prepared to handle the consequences thereafter?

I’m no Aunt Agony, but if you’ve ever been in a relationship, you’d know that every day with your other half is a blessing.

Who knows when the next argument will arise? Who knows when either one of you will have a change of heart out of the blue?

Here’s the thing – we don’t.

What we do know is that keeping love alive is a conscious effort between two parties.

That said, arguments are inevitable but it’s crucial to keep a clear mind when it happens, and no matter what, don’t turn your back on your partner when he/ she is making an effort to work things out with you.

A man died of exhaustion from chasing his girlfriend

Chasing after your love interest is a roller coaster of emotions. But literally chasing someone takes a toll on you physically more than anything.

In this case, a Malaysian man by the name of Yung Fei Kong became unconscious and eventually passed away on 16 August, Friday, after running after his girlfriend, following an argument between both parties.

According to a local news source, the two ran from the central market in Sibu to a shophouse at 8 AM and lost their footwear in the process.

Yung even fell during the chase, but decided that losing the love of his life was a greater pain to bear, and resumed running (that’s a keeper right there).

By the time they arrived at the shophouse, both Yung and his girlfriend were tired.

Boyfriend Dead

Yung had reportedly sat on the steps in the building before his collapse.

Meanwhile, his 27-year-old girlfriend assumed he was resting and left the premises.

Eventually, the police and medical team were alerted and they detected that something was not right with Yung; they later discovered that he was not breathing.

At this point, the 27-year-old returned to the now-crowded shophouse with Yung’s slippers in her hands at 9 AM.

She’s probably cooled down and was ready to make things right.

But It Was Too Late

Like anyone else, the 27-year-old immediately crumbled to the ground and broke down in tears upon realizing the fate of her boyfriend. I can only imagine the remorse and hatred she felt towards herself…

It’s human nature to look past everyday things which we take for granted over time. For instance, we never really cherish the ability to breathe normally until we have a blocked nose.

We all know that our time on earth is short-lived.

But are we making the most of it and treasuring our time with our loved ones? Do we get caught up in the littlest arguments and are too stubborn to meet halfway? Embrace problems together, not run from it.

A wise man once said, “Apologizing does not always mean that you’re wrong and the other person is right. It just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.” And honestly, there’s a lot of truth in it when you look at the bigger picture.
