A legend has passed.
For those who follow the wrestling scene (especially WWE), you may know Bray Wyatt.
He came from a famous family of wrestlers and won the WWE world championships a total of three times.
However, his life has been abruptly cut short as the winner died of a heart attack at age 36.
Here is more about the champion and his death.
Bray Watt Dies at Age 36 Due to a Heart Attack
The death of Bray Wyatt may have come as a shock to his many fans.
Announced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) content officer Triple H, Wyatt’s death left many fans in shock as he had passed “unexpectedly” (according to reports by BBC) on 24 August 2023.
Wyatt was 36 years old at the time of his death.
The cause of his death is said to be a heart attack but it was a sudden passing.
What a sad time when a life is cut short before it’s time to go.
For those who don’t know Wyatt the wrestler, his real name was Windham Rotunda and he was a three-time WWE world champion.
He joined the wrestling arena in 2009 and continued his climb to fame steadily after joining the physical sport.
When 2013 came around, Wyatt was practically a household name in the WWE sphere as he sported a horror-themed character when he participated in his matches.
However, Wyatt had not been competing recently as he was out for a number of months due to an undisclosed health issue (reports ESPN). He had also previously taken a hiatus around 2018-2019.
In fact, Wyatt had been unexpectedly let go from WWE around 2022.
Cue the dramatic music.
Contracting COVID-19 May Have Caused Him to Die Early
So what could have caused the downfall and death of a three-time champion?
Clearly he must have some wrestling skills to his name to clinch the coveted championship multiple times.
It appears that health problems may have been the cause of Wyatt’s tragic downhill descend.
For one, he had a heart condition which people speculated worsened when he contracted COVID-19.
Well, that wouldn’t be the first time that someone with pre-existing health conditions was made more vulnerable by the pandemic disease.
That weakening of his body could have eventually led to his heart attack and eventual death.
For now, while waiting for more developments about this matter, WWE fans will mourn Wyatt and honor his impressive wrestling legacy. Rest in peace.
