Husband: Oh, no no it’s not like that. I’m just taking a driving test.

Wife: Oh I see, I see. OK then, I guess I’ll see you after wor-wait a minute. Why the hell are you putting on makeup and a dress for a driving test?

Husband: It’s not for me, it’s for my mother.

Wife: …

Husband: I’m taking her driving test for her.

Wife: …

Husband: To really get into character I’m also wearing her unde-

Brazillian Man Arrested For Dressing Up As His Mother To Take Her Driving Test For Her

As the ridiculous headlines states, a man in northern Brazil was recently arrested for dressing up as his mum to take her driving test for her.

But why, you ask, would he do such a thing?

Love, dear reader, love is the answer.

Failed test numerous times

According to 7 News, Heitor Schiave’s mother kept failing her driving test. So, being the loving son that he is, Heitor decided to help her take her test for her.

Looked fabulous

He had to look the part though, so he put on a floral dress, painted his nails, and wore make-up and a wig. He does look quite fabulous, I have to admit. How does this guy pull off the homely-grandma look so well?

Instructor got suspicious

Because he really did look like a woman, it seemed that he would get away with it and possibly pass his mother’s fourth driving test.

But the driving inspector became suspicious after noticing how big his hands were.

So, he checked Heitor’s ID during the test.

The instructor, Aline Mendonça, said “His disguise didn’t register as unusual at first because I had just finished testing my fifth candidate so I was a little distracted.

“However, when I got into the car and sat down beside who I thought was the provisional driver, I quickly realised this was a man dressed as a woman.

“He was doing his best to be feminine and as natural as possible. His make-up was really well done and he looked extremely good.”

So, we’ve established that while he’s a criminal, he’s really good at makeup.

Aline then asked him to verify his identity and it became clear to the instructor that he was not his mother. She then called the police to report the impersonation.

Mother didn’t know

Heitor later confessed to police, saying his mum didn’t know what he was doing.

After he was arrested he was seen sitting on a bench looking dejected, texting on his phone.

Schiave faces charges of identity fraud and attempting to deceive a government body. He has been released on bail while detectives open an investigation.

Yes, just for dressing up like his mother to take her test, Heitor will soon be charged in court.

One can certainly sympathise with Heitor. He was just trying to help his poor mum.

Then again, if she kept failing her test, isn’t that a sign that she shouldn’t be on the road, Heitor?
