Breaking News: Pokemon GO Spawn Nests Likely to Change Every 23-24 Days and Before Major Updates

Niantic has done it again.

Ever since Pokemon GO launched in Singapore, everything Niantic does seems to have some heart-stopping effects on hardcore Pokemon GO trainers here in Singapore.

From taking away Pokemon tracking maps (which resulted in increased difficulty (and frustration) of the game) to the latest update which has gym leaders analysing your Pokemon battle potential (and disappointing Team Instinct whose team leader only asked if they want to share his glue).

While most people are focused on the fact that they shouldn’t have chosen Team Instinct at level 5, there are others who were observing the game for any other changes.

And they found a pretty huge one.

Change in Spawn Nests

For those who have already found their “secret spot” with a high number of rare Pokemon, this will destroy you.

According to Pokemon masters online, it was observed that the spawns in Pokemon GO migrate every 23-24 days.

Also, it was theorised that before every major update of the game, spawn nests will change as well.

The latest change is pretty good though

That’s if you’ve finished capturing the Pokemon you need from the area.

In the Reddit thread, The Silph Road, they managed to compile a list of changes to spawn nests and found that either more Pokemon can be found in one nest or it has changed completely.

Not all is lost

However, if you’re now in the “grinding level” phase of your Pokemon journey, you won’t be affected as common Pokemon nests are not affected by the change.

So carry on catching ’em all.

P/S: This was just something we’ve noticed

We made our way to Hougang Ave 10 for rare Pokemon but it was lesser than expected.

On the other hand, we came to know another area which seems to be teeming with rare Pokemon – Marine Parade.

Blastoise, Snorlax, Kadabra and Dragonite were all spotted in the area.
