Big Hit Entertainment is holding auditions in Singapore
In case you don’t get it- Big Hit Entertainment is the agency that manages Korean boy band BTS.
And if you haven’t heard – BTS is currently the highest-paid boy band and K-pop act in 2019, according to Forbes, after taking home S$78.9 million in pre-tax income over the past year.
The agency and its newly acquired label Source Music will be holding auditions to find a new girl group.
Big Hit has identified “high growth potential in the girl group category”.
The agency plans to debut the girl group in 2021, according to Soompi, a K-pop news website.
According to TODAYonline, The “Plus Global Audition” will include a 12 October audition in Singapore, as well as in 15 other cities including Seoul, Melbourne, New York and Bangkok from October.
From 5 to 27 October, the “Plus Global Audition” will be held in Singapore as well as 15 other cities including Seoul, Melbourne, New York and Bangkok.
To reiterate, the auditions will be held in Singapore on 12 October 2019, so mark your calendars. Who knows, you might just be the next K-pop star.
