‘Business Class’ Coach From S’pore To Kuala Lumpur Has Spacious Seats, Food, Charging Ports & Toilet

It’s the holiday period, and not every one of us can afford a plane ticket to Europe or even Asian countries such as Japan or Korea.

If you’re on a budget so tight that even Thailand is out of the question, maybe you’d choose to give up the wings and travel on land instead.

But, as the famous quote goes: “It’s the journey, not the destination.”

This may be the reason you’re reluctant to take a coach to Kuala Lumpur or Penang for a holiday.

Well, get ready to change that belief of yours.

Business Class Coach

You may be under the impression that coach rides to Malaysia all involve small seats, lack of amenities, and having to depend on rest stops for toilet breaks.

But Aeroline is here to prove you wrong.

In a Facebook post by a Malaysian woman, she shared her experience of perhaps the best coach ride service ever.

On the outside, this looks like a very nice two-storey coach from Glassland Express, but still nothing out of the ordinary yet.

But upon entering, you’re greeted by a very well-dressed cabin crew.

Yah, not two uncles who seem to smoke every few minutes.

And here’s when you know that this coach ride is going to be unlike any other.

In-flight In-ride Entertainment, Toilets, & More

Evident in their company slogan ‘The convenient way to fly’, Aeroline is taking the pros of flight experience and combining it with the convenience and affordability of a coach ride.

Their seats are not only far more spacious than any economy flight seats but are also highly comfortable.

Just look at those plush seats. Kinda reminds me of Gold Class cinema seats.

One of the most famous in-flight entertainment is in the form of their television screens for watching various movies and videos.

You can now enjoy that in Aeroline’s coaches as well.

If you’ve used up too much battery taking Insta-stories of this prestigious coach, fret not. Power sockets are readily available.

Just like any long flight, food and drinks are also served. Admittedly – these are no Michelin star gourmet dishes, but it has been stated to still be delicious. Who needs Yong Peng when you have in-flight in-ride meals?

Need the toilet after all that eating and drinking? Toilets are available on the coach. You now no longer have to wait for the shabby toilets at rest stops!

Outside of the rides, Aeroline even has hospitality lounges at a hotel!

Seriously, they have truly lived up to their slogan. All they need now are stewardesses asking “Coffee or tea?” and they’re good to go.

Convenient & Affordable

I’m pretty sure I’ve already made a strong enough case for you to try this coach service the next time you’re going north for some Penang Assam Laksa.

In case you think that their rates would also be as outrageous as flight tickets – you thought wrong.

The tickets between Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur cost only RM60 (~SGD20) for adults and RM30 (~SGD10) for children.

That’s damn affordable, though of course the issue is that you’d have to take the ride from Johor Bahru and not Golden Mile in Singapore.

You can check out more info here where they also display their convenient daily timings.
