If you’re a Marvel fan, you would know one thing; just last year, Avengers: Infinity War broke something very important to us:

Our hearts.

And with Avengers: Endgame slated to be released in cinemas pretty soon, we can’t help but pine for a miracle. But… how?

Well, meet Captain Marvel.

Played by actress Brie Larson, Captain Marvel might not seem particularly marvellous in the trailer, but I can foresee it:

Her resting bitch face is gonna annihilate Thanos.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ve seen someone this chronically pissed since John Wick, and we all know how that went down.

So what?

Well, as you might’ve surmised from the headline, Brie Larson and gang are set to touch down in Singapore. And guess what?

You might just see her ‘resting bitch face’ in person very soon!

Fan meet

In May last year, lucky fans were treated to live meet-ups with none other than the indomitable albeit half-present Avengers gang.

And it seems that the cast is back, and they’re here to promote the highly-anticipated Captain Marvel film that’s set to be released in March this year. Though there’s just one thing; instead of Thor, Stark and the rest of the A gang, it’s three ‘new’ personalities this time:

Brie Larson (as Captain Marvel), Gemma Chan (as Minn-Erva) and the ever-present Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury).

Oh, yes, by the way, it’s that Gemma Chan from Crazy Rich Asians.

With the Captain Marvel Fan Event set to be held today (14 Feb) at Sands Expo And Convention Center, level B2, Hall F, the three titular stars are set to grace the stage, alongside directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.

But it’s not just the fan meet at stake

Being a Singaporean, I would always go gaga whenever I go overseas. But hey don’t judge me; I don’t get to travel that often.

Yet it seems that it’s not just quirky Singaporean writers who’re at risk of facing the problem above. Somewhere in Singapore, two very prominent Hollywood stars are exploring the lion city, and they seem every bit as fascinated as me when I go overseas.

Just check Larson’s personal experiences out!

And apparently, like every kiasu Singaporean probably would overseas, she wasted no time in her conquest of Singapore’s must-see-must-tries.

And really, what’s Singapore without a trip to two of the country’s most scenic spots?

Merlion: Hey, what about me? =(

And Nick Fury is no different

In the film world, Samuel L Jackson might’ve cultivated the tough-as-nails persona Nick Fury, who’s the ringleader of a gang that wreaks havoc everywhere leader of the iconic Avengers association. But elsewhere, it seems that the established actor is just like any one of us:

An excited tourist.

And really, what better way to spend some hard-earned vacation time, than to go shopping in Ion Orchard?

Passing by Nick Fury while shopping for your trendy cardigan? Sick.

And last but definitely not least, we have Gemma Chan, who seems hyped for her Singapore endeavour too.

And apparently, she’s been hard ‘at work’ upon touching down.

Well, she is a star of Crazy, Rich Asians after all. 😉

Note: The fan meet takes place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
