A three-car chain collision on Airport Boulevard sent two people to hospital on the evening of 16 Nov 2025.
The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) responded to the accident at about 8:20pm. The collision occurred on the stretch of Airport Boulevard coming from Changi Airport Terminal 3 towards the city.
A 34-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy, both car passengers, were conveyed conscious to Sengkang General Hospital. A third person was assessed by SCDF for minor injuries but declined to be taken to hospital.
Private-Hire Vehicle Damaged in Chain Collision Near Changi Airport
According to a Facebook user who shared photos of the aftermath, one of the vehicles involved was a private-hire vehicle.
Photos from the scene showed a white car with its rear badly damaged. The car’s bumper and lights had broken off completely.

The accident caused traffic congestion along the road. Photos taken around 8:35pm showed vehicles backed up in the area.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Second Major Pile-Up on Airport Boulevard Within Two Weeks
This marks the second significant accident on Airport Boulevard in a short span of time. Just two weeks earlier, on 2 Nov 2025, another pile-up occurred along the same road.
That earlier incident involved four cars colliding into each other and sent two men to hospital.
The Traffic Police noted in its mid-year report in August that road traffic accidents and casualties have been climbing over the past three years. The number of accidents resulting in injuries jumped from 3,437 in the first half of 2024 to 3,740 in the same period of 2025.
This increase led to 4,860 injured people in the first half of 2025, up from 4,665 the year before.
