While it may sometimes seem that all the good people are gone, it’s news like this that restores our faith in humanity.
On Thursday, 14 November, a user posted on the Facebook group, 50 Shades of Singapore, about a kind driver who stopped to help his uncle.
Here is the post!
Uncle Was Unwell
According to the post, the user’s uncle was intoxicated and was experiencing trouble to even breathe. The poor uncle then fainted while trying to cross the road.
Thankfully, a nice driver stopped his car and came out to come to his uncle’s rescue, giving him water and even helping to clean up his uncle’s puke when he threw up on himself.
This man really deserves a standing ovation for his kind deeds.
Thank You
The user went on to say thank you to the man as this meant a lot to him and his uncle since not everyone would be willing to do this for a stranger.
The user finally ended off his message by stating that this man’s kind action had a large impact on his uncle as “(his) uncle wouldn’t have lasted the night if not for (the kind man)”.
Driver Unknown
Till now, the identity of the man is still unknown. The user explained that he has tried sharing this story on various platforms in hopes of being able to reach out to the kind driver and thank him personally but has yet to find out who the driver is.
It is very heartwarming to know that kind-hearted people like the driver are among us and are willing to go the extra mile to help a stranger.
Here’s to hoping that there will be more people like him who are willing to put other people’s needs before their own to help another.
If you know who this driver is, you can contact the Facebook user who posted this here.
