As we are currently about 3/4 through this dreadful but necessary circuit breaker, I would like to applaud everyone who just kept to the rules and stayed at home so that all of these can be over with soon.
But of course, like with any group setting, there are always those troublemakers. There’s always one naughty kid in class that delays your recess. That one annoying recruit that makes your entire platoon kena tekan because he wants to ‘test the system’.
Now that we have upped the scale to our entire country, you know that we have no lack of cases of flouting of circuit breaker measures.
From people refusing to takeaway food to people who insist on having hangouts with their friends to people claiming to be a ‘sovereign’, these people really pattern more than badminton.
Now that people are starting to learn to follow the rules much like that annoying recruit after getting punished every day, our cases are starting to decline somewhat. But looks like there are some people who just didn’t quite get the memo.
Buzz Cashier Refuses To Wear Mask Properly
In the Singaporean land of unlimited wisdom and intellect known as HardwareZone Forums, a cashier who works at the Buzz store opposite Tiong Bahru Plaza was found to have been not such a good boy.
Well, he did get the memo to wear a mask alright.
But the position of the mask? Not so much.

“What? They say wear mask only mah. They never say how to wear. Heh heh.”
“You think you funny right? Okay, whole platoon knock it down!”
^ What I imagine the conversation to be if he was in army.
Maybe he just nose itchy then want to pull down to scratch a bit?
But apparently, the user known as adam lambert claimed that his photos were taken over many separate days. No excuses there.
“adam lambert” then also said that he had reported this to the OneService app several times but to no avail.
He apparently witnessed an officer telling him off but the cashier just removed the mask once she was out of sight.
From what “adam lambert” speculates, he just pays lip service to every enforcement officer who gives him a warning and no follow-up was done.
Selfish? Or is there a legitimate reason?
Now I don’t want to cast any judgements, but it is people like these who make it harder for cases to go down.
After all, like other users on HardwareZone had pointed out, that particular Buzz store is located at a somewhat crowded bus stop, which makes it easy to form new clusters.
But do you think there could be a legitimate excuse that he keeps pulling his mask down?
Maybe he wants to let people know when he’s smiling for maximum customer service. Who knows?
