He was on duty at Chingay 2020 which took place on 31 January 2020 and 1 February 2020.
Previously, it was reported that it wasn’t known what duty he had during the event, or whether he had put on a mask when he was on duty (since he had symptoms on that day).

PA: Not In Close Contact With Performers Or Audience
People’s Association (PA) were the ones to organise the Chingay parade.
On 10 Feb 2020, they sent a message out to Chingay participants, performers and grassroots leaders.
They said that on both days when the officer was on duty, he had his temperature taken and did not show signs of being unwell.
They added that the officer was not in close contact with the performers and audience during these two days.
