How many times have you passed by Changi Airport on the way to the departure gate and promising yourself that one day, you’ll earn enough money you won’t mind spending a bit extra on entering the atas lounges in your own country?
What if I tell you that you can now, for the price of 12 bucks.
Yes. Twelve. Bucks.

Don’t Say Bojio: $12 for 2 Hours in Changi Airport Lounge with Good & Drinks
On 14 Aug 2020, the Changi Airport Facebook page uploaded a post that will get any Singaporean excited.
For just $12, you get to access the longe for two hours, including a welcome drink and snack.
And for those who want to stay within the lounge for a longer time, you can book a four-hour slot for just $20 and enjoy 4-hour free parking.
Without the promotion, access to the lounge used to cost $50 for three hours (adult), with extension charges of $10 per hour.
Just take note that unlike before, there’s no buffet line within the lounge since, well, Covid-19 rules currently prohibit buffet lines.
According to Milelion, if you top up $27, you can get a premium hot bento when you visit as well.
What Can You Get For Your Money
Of course, if I were to tell you to nibble on the popcorn and sip on your drink for two or four hours, you’re probably going to go back to camp and shoot at me with your SAR21.
The lounge is originally meant for arriving and departing passengers, giving them a comfortable space to rest or make use of the high-speed connectivity within to whiz through their work.
There are also meeting rooms with video conferencing facilities if you decide to upgrade your office for the day.
Currently, the lounge is only open from 10am to 10pm due to Covid-19, so don’t expect it to be 24-hour like before.
Also, the lounge is certified SG Clean so you can be assured that the only dirty organism in there is you.
Just kidding, it means you can be at ease there. Still, make sure to stay safe, yeah?
