Changi Airport claimed the top spot in Skytrax’s inaugural World’s Best Airport Washrooms 2025 awards.
The ranking assessed washroom facilities at 235 airports worldwide.
Asian Airports Dominate Washroom Rankings
All 10 airports in the top rankings were located in Asia.
Tokyo’s Haneda Airport secured second place, while South Korea’s Incheon Airport came in third.
The remaining spots went to Bahrain International Airport, Hong Kong Airport, Japan’s Kansai Airport, Japan’s New Chitose Airport, Japan’s Narita Airport, Taiwan’s Taoyuan Airport, and Japan’s Fukuoka Airport.
The assessment was based on evaluations and feedback from Skytrax’s audit office.
Changi Also Takes Top Overall Airport Title
Changi Airport simultaneously topped Skytrax’s World’s Best Airports 2025 list.
Qatar’s Hamad International Airport ranked second in the overall airport category. Japan’s Haneda Airport placed third, followed by South Korea’s Incheon Airport in fourth and Japan’s Narita Airport in fifth.
France’s Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport secured seventh place, while Italy’s Rome Fiumicino Airport came in eighth. Most of the top 10 airports in the overall ranking were from Asia, with only a handful of European airports making the cut.
