What do you do when your teacher released the class late for recess?
You’d probably:
- Complain darkly under your breath
- Plan to complain to your parents so they’ll teach her a lesson
- Grumble about the teacher with your close friends
Now, notice that all three of the actions above involves your mouth only.
However, one teenager in China decided to resort to physical violence and it left the teacher injured in the face.
Here’s what happened.
Teen in China Beat Up Teacher While She Was Teaching The Class
A video clip of a student attacking a teacher in China made its rounds around social media recently.
According to the report, the incident happened on 10 Nov 2021 at around 12:52pm.
The student who assaulted the teacher could be seen banging on the table in frustration before rushing to the front of the class.
With his running start, he threw a punch at the teacher, which she dodged.
Nonetheless, that didn’t deter him and he made his way around the table while continuously throwing punches at the female teacher’s face.
Thankfully for the female teacher, students at the front of the class reacted quickly and rushed forward to help.
They managed to restrain the boy after some time.

Reactions
Chinese media reported that the case is still undergoing investigation.
However, it was alleged that the student got furious because the teacher had held back the class from going for lunch.
On Weibo, there are mixed reactions to the incident.
Some users were on the side of the teacher:
“Even though the teacher ended the class late, but who was it for? If the student can’t stand it, just go home and have a meal. You don’t have to beat up your teacher. This kind of violent student must be expelled.”
While others empathised with the student:
“Those who’ve been to school would know, there’ll only be vegetables left in the canteen when you go there late. When it’s time to eat, lessons should not continue dragging on.”
One thing for sure, though, teachers in China aren’t having an easy time either.

Unsurprisingly, she lost her job and was detained by the police.
To make things worse, she was also found out for using fake photos of an ex-colleague who has since made a police report.
