Fatal Encounter After Payment Dispute

Fu told investigators through a translator that he met 25-year-old Woranun Pannacha (also identified as Woranan Pannacha) on the evening of 25 Apr 2025 near South Pattaya beach, where they exchanged contact information via WeChat.

At that time, he was not aware that Ms Woranun was transgender.

At approximately 9pm the same day, Woranun contacted Fu and visited his rented apartment in central Pattaya. Fu agreed to pay 8,000 baht (S$314.66) for sex.

According to Fu’s confession, the situation deteriorated when Woranun later refused to have sex with him. Fu demanded a 50% refund, which Woranun declined, leading to an argument.

Fu claimed that during the dispute, Woranun scratched his face and kicked him off the bed. In response, Fu got back on the bed, sat on her body, and strangled her until she went limp.

Gruesome Mutilation and Attempted Escape

After killing Woranun, Fu dragged her body to the bathroom where he committed further horrific acts. Using scissors that he claimed were purchased for self-protection when going out at night, Fu cut open her body.

The suspect told police he wanted to “play” with her body.

He cut open her breasts to remove her silicone implants, and cut the body from neck to genital area to remove her heart.

Pattaya police chief Anek Srathongyoo (also identified as Pol Col Anek Sathongyu) noted that one of Woranun’s lungs was also missing, though Fu denied touching it.

Police found that the bag Fu carried contained only a drinking bottle, not human organs.

After the mutilation, Fu washed Woranun’s body and cleaned the blood from the room. He then left the body in the bathroom and went to sleep.

Hours later, Fu woke up, booked a flight ticket to China, and took a motorbike taxi and bus to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, where police apprehended him on 26 Apr 2025.

The suspect, whose face still bore bloodied scratch marks at the time of arrest, told police he became enraged and could not control himself after being assaulted by Woranun.

Fu stated he did not know if he suffered from any mental health issues as he had never sought a diagnosis. He apologized for his actions.
