Lover 1: Babe, I think we’re ready to go all the way.

Lover 2: I agree, babe. But where will we do it? My parents’ house is not an option. What about your house?

The above conversation may not have happened, but some lovers are certainly getting it on at HDB staircases.

Couples Reportedly Treated Staircases at Pasir Ris Blk 101 as Motels

A staircase usually takes you to the next level, but one particular staircase in Pasir Ris seems to be helping couples take their relationship to the next level.

According to Shin Min Daily News, residents of Block 101 on Pasir Ris Street 12 have been complaining of couples having sex at staircases.

Recently, a delivery worker took to social media to air his grievances over what he came across at the block when making a delivery.

The man said he saw used tissue paper and condoms at a staircase landing.

Other residents of the block also told the local Chinese daily that they often see students behaving inappropriately at the staircase areas.

One resident said he saw a couple hugging each other at a staircase landing a few months ago.

They allegedly spent the night there and left tissue paper, empty cans, and snack packaging behind the next day.

Resident Caught Couple Having Sex

A 60-year-old housewife who spoke to Shin Min said her husband once stumbled upon a couple brazenly having sex at the stairwell on the 10th storey in 2019 while he was climbing up the stairs as part of his workout.

Shocked that they were caught bumping uglies, the couple quickly fled the scene before they could even put their clothes back on.

It wasn’t as if the couple was getting intimate in the early hours of the morning when everyone would be asleep.

They reportedly had sex in the evening, when residents would still be using the staircases to get home or leave their houses.

Another resident of the block, a 50-year-old housewife, said she’s concerned by the frequency with which youths are caught having sex there, as she’s worried it could influence her kids to do the same when they grow up.
