With a whopping 47 new cases yesterday, it’s no longer surprising to see today’s headline.
Yes, a total of 32 new cases were announced today, with 24 of them being imported cases.

32 New COVID-19 Cases in S’pore Today (19 Mar); 24 Cases Are Imported
Once again, with so many cases, we’re just going to summarise the cases instead of listing them down.
Of the 32 new cases, 24 of them are imported and are returning residents (e.g. Singaporeans, Singapore PRs or long-term pass holders). All of them have been to ASEAN, Europe and North America. 14 of them have been to the UK, a region that has “abandoned” efforts to contact trace new patients; you can read more about their rationale here.
2 of the local cases are linked to previously confirmed cases.
The sources of infections for the other 6 local cases are not established yet.
This means in total, we have 345 confirmed cases, though a bulk of them are now imported cases.
Updates on Confirmed Cases
Out of the 345 cases, 124 of them have fully recovered and are discharged. 15 of them are in ICU.
The conditions of the remaining patients are either stable or improving.
And lest you didn’t know yet, anyone who comes in to Singapore from tomorrow (20 March) 11:59pm onwards would need to fulfil a 14-day Stay-Home Notice.
