When it was reported that TraceTogether would be compulsory for moviegoers, you should know that we’re one step closer to Phase Three.

And from today’s numbers, it appears so.

Today (20 October 2020), as of 12 pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 6 new cases of COVID-19 infection.

4 of them are imported cases while 2 are dorm cases.

This brings the total number of cases to 57,921.

On average, based in yesterday’s numbers, the number of new cases in the community has remained stable at 4 cases a week in the past 2 weeks.

The number of unlinked cases in the community has increased from none in the week before, to 2 cases in the past week.

New Locations Added Again

Despite the lack of locally transmitted cases yesterday, two more locations have been added to the list of places visited by COVID-19 cases while infectious.

They are Jurong Point and an NTUC FairPrice at Aljunied.

Here’s the complete list:

As usual, there is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.

People who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit. They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

Individuals may access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service via the TraceTogether App, SingPass Mobile, or at https://wereyouthere.safeentry.gov.sg to check whether they were at these locations during the specified timings, based on their own SafeEntry records.
