Based on the numbers we’re seeing daily, chances are we would be hitting the 50K mark before we greet August.
Today, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 354 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.
This brings the total here in our little red dot to 49,098 cases.
Out of today’s cases, 8 are community cases, with 4 of them Singaporeans or Singapore PRs.
In addition, there are 5 imported cases who had been placed on a stay-home notice upon arrival in Singapore.
A majority of the cases are residents living in dormitories.
On average, based on yesterday’s number, the number of new cases in the community has decreased, from an average of 13 cases per day in the week before, to an average of 9 per day in the past week.
The number of unlinked cases in the community has also decreased, from an average of 8 cases per day in the week before, to an average of 5 per day in the past week.
But…the number of places that infectious patients have been increasing so much that you’d have lost count.
Places Infectious COVID-19 Patients Have Been To
We can summarise the places in one short sentence: almost everywhere in Singapore lah
But here’s the list of places:
If you’ve been to these locations during the specified timings, you should monitor your health closely for 14 days from your date of visit. You should see a doctor promptly if you develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.
Once again, remember: there is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.

Not that we really avoid, because these places are still crowded AF.
