One day later and another cluster has been reported.
One of the new Covid-19 case yesterday was linked to 4 previously-confirmed Covid-19 cases, and a new cluster was formed at Homestay Lodge at 39 Kaki Bukit Avenue 3
Two Covid-19 cases reported on 23 Aug are also linked to the Sungei Tengah Lodge Covid-19 cluster, bringing the number of cases linked to the cluster up to 58. All 58 are asymptomatic cases.
SHN has been issued to 4,800 workers and 20 construction sites have been issued a safety time-out (stop work temporarily).
As for why they’re so paranoid about this, it’s because they want to let workers start work in as safe a manner as possible.
