If you thought that we can never go lower than the 51 cases reported yesterday, think again because today has proven us wrong.
Being wrong has never felt so good, has it?
As of 12pm on 25 Aug 2020, the Ministry of Health (MOH) preliminarily reported 31 new Covid-19 cases.

That’s not the best part.
Based on MOH’s preliminary investigations, there are also no cases in the community.
There is 1 imported case who has been placed on Stay-Home-Notice (SHN) since arrival in Singapore.
More details will be revealed tonight.
More Details On 24 Aug Cases
On 24 Aug, MOH reported 51 new Covid-19 cases.
There is 1 community case, a 65-year-old Singaporean woman. She was a contact of a previously-confirmed case and was placed on quarantine earlier.
There were also seven imported cases which include one PR, two work permit holders, three dependant’s pass holders and a long-term visit pass holder.
All seven cases were placed on SHN upon arrival.

Out of the seven cases, three of them were boys, aged two to three, who had returned from India and tested positive on 22 and 23 Aug 2020.
Migrant workers living in dormitories make up the rest of the cases.
Three New Clusters From Already Cleared Dormitories
On 22 Aug 2020, it was reported that a new cluster formed at Singapore’s largest dormitory, Sungei Tengah Lodge.
So far, 58 asymptomatic cases were linked to the cluster.

Since the dormitory was declared a new cluster on Sunday, around 4,800 workers were issued Stay-Home Notices (SHN) as a precautionary measure.
Those who were not issued SHN are either workers who have recently recovered from the virus, or they were not close contacts of any of the new confirmed cases.
The next day, another Covid-19 cluster was reported, this time at Homestay Lodge at 39 Kaki Bukit Avenue 3.
And on 24 Aug 2020, a new cluster was reported at Tuas View Dormitory located at 70 Tuas South Avenue 1.
It seems like the authorities are taking no chances because 13 worksites have been ordered to stop work after the clusters were discovered.
