One Hawker Centre Has 10 Visits From Infectious Covid-19 Patients
On 26 Aug, a hawker centre was added to MOH’s list of places Covid-19 patients have been to.
The Block 4A Jalan Batu Hawker Centre in Mountbatten was added to the list by MOH and there were 10 recorded visits of Covid-19 patients between 14 Aug and 23 Aug 2020.
You can find the full list here.
Members of the public do not need to avoid the hawker centre since NEA will work together with the operator to make it the cleanest place in Singapore.
However, if you find yourself at any of the mentioned places within the same timeframe as the infectious Covid-19 patients’ visit, monitor your health for the next 14 days.
Seek a doctor if you feel even the slightest bit unwell.
Close contacts have already been identified and contacted, the ministry said.
Currently, Singapore’s Covid-19 situation remains well in hand, with the average number of community cases remaining stable at 2 per day, and the number of unlinked cases at 1 per day.
