When you realise that there are quite a number of new places added to the list of places that infectious COVID-19, you might worry that we’re going to see a cluster of community cases today.
Thankfully, everything appears to be still under control.
Today (27 October 2020), as of 12 pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 7 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
6 are imported while 1 is a community case.
This brings the total number of cases to 57,980.
As of yesterday, the number of new cases in the community has decreased from 4 cases in the week before, to 2 in the past week.
The number of unlinked cases in the community has remained stable at 2 cases a week in the past 2 weeks.
More Places in List of Places Infectious COVID-19 Cases Have Been
Last night (27 Oct), there was a sudden change in the places that infectious COVID-19 cases have been to.
A few malls were added to the list, and they’re all over Singapore from Tampines to Orchard to Chua Chu Kang.

Once again, there is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.
As a precautionary measure, people who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit. They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.
Individuals may access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service via the TraceTogether App, SingPass Mobile, or at https://wereyouthere.safeentry.gov.sg to check whether they were at these locations during the specified timings, based on their own SafeEntry records.
