7 COVID-19 Cases Today (4 Nov); Still No Community Case

As you read this, people all over the world are looking at who’s going to lead the fight against COVID-19 in a country that has the most number of cases: The United States of America.

Whether you support Obama’s BFF or you think that people should say, “You’re fired” to Donald Trump, it’s still important to see the COVID-19 fight here in Singapore, and thankfully, today isn’t as chaotic as what’s happening in the other side of the world.

As of 12pm today, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 7 new cases of COVID-19 infection.

5 of them are imported while 2 are dorm cases.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases here in Singapore to 58,036.

As of yesterday, the number of new cases in the community has remained low, with a total of 1 case in the past week, who is currently unlinked.

64 People Being Cared for / Isolated Now

There are currently 38 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and none is in the intensive care unit. 26 are isolated and cared for at community facilities.

These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

28 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
